Born in 1895 in Redbourn son of Fredrick and Alice Peacock, of 72, High St., Redbourn, St. Albans, Herts. He was a domestic gardener.

Wartime Service

Enlisted in London, entered France on 19 Jul 1915 and was reported in the local newspaper as 'unofficially' killed in the battle of the Somme and later confirmed as killed in action on the Somme.
