Born in 1895 in 17 Ash Street, Hertford son of Robert W. and Lydia (Collins) Abbey.


In 1911 he was a domestic Gardener and the family was living in 3 Spencer Street, Hertford.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Bedford and died of pneumonia in France.
