Born on 5 Aug 1883 in Bodmin, Cornwall son of Frederick Stephen and Sarah Page.


Educated at the Royal Masonic School 1893-98.

Wartime Service

He joined the Regular Army in 1893 in Bodmin and served in India, Ceylon and South Africa with the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry. He entered France in Sep 1914 but was wounded in Jul 1916 at Ypres.


He was invalided to England but returned to the fight in less than three months and was killed in action at Ypres.
