Pre War

Born in 1891 in Ware, Hertfordshire. In 1911 he was a greengrocer’s assistant and boarding in 8 Milton Road, Upper Edmonton. He married Phoebe Peachey in 1915 in Edmonton.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Tottenham formerly 4th Bn. Fusiliers, entered France on 3 Aug 1916, transferred to the 24th Fusiliers on 15 Aug 1916 and was killed in action in France.
