Pre War

Born in 1899, in Hertford, to parents Robert and Georgina, he had a brother Robert Pancourt and in 1901 they were living at 86 Fore Street, Hertford. His father was a physician and surgeon.


The 1911 census lists Philip as a pupil at South Lodge School in South Lowestoft. At the time of his death his parents were living in Bengeo.

Wartime Service

Enlisted and sent with the regiment to India, where he was stationed at Secunderabad.


He died there in 1921 possibly as a result of illness.
