Born on 10 Oct 1893 and baptised on 26 Nov 1893 in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire son of James and Alice Lannia Oakman and was living in Amwell Street, Hoddesdon in 1901 and later in 93 Whitley Road, Rye Park, Hoddesdon.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Waltham Abbey and was reported missing after fighting at Battle of Hill 60 and later assumed killed in action.
