Born in 1885 in Ware, Hertfordshire son of Benjamin and Mary Ann Norton (later Mrs. Huckle) and was living with his step-father Arthur Huckle in Princes Street, Ware in 1901.
Wartime Service
He was a regular in the army and was already in India by 1911. Enlisted at Ware for WW1, entered France on 11 Sep 1914 and was killed in action.
