Born on 10 Mar 1895 in Hackney, London son of William John and Alice Amy Norman.


Educated at the Royal Masonic School 1903-11.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Kensington, London, entered France on 3 Nov 1914 and was made a Corporal for bravery in the field at Neuve Chapelle.


He was killed at Froucelles in Belgium while attacking the German second line.
