Born on 22 Jul 1892 in Thornhill, Crescent Road, Crouch End, London son of William Edsall and Elizabeth Bessie Munt later of The Coppice, Coppice Lane, Reigate and baptised in Crouch End on 25 Aug 1892. Educated at Haileybury College 1906-10.
Wartime Service
Enlisted at Armoury House, London on 26 Aug 1914 and promoted Lance Corporal 7 May 1915. Embarked for France at Southampton on 18 Sep 1914 and was killed in action.
