Born on 18 Nov 1875 in Carlisle, Cumberland son of Col. James Francis and Eleanor Maria (Wells) Morton. Educated at the United Services College 1899-1901.

Wartime Service

Formerly Welch Regiment transferred to the Border Regiment in 1905. Killed in action at Gallipoli.

Additional Information

Brother of Lieutenant Colonel Robert Brooke Morton who died in service on 10 Feb 1919. United Services College, Westward Ho, Devon amalgamated with Imperial Service College in Windsor in 1912 and then moved to Haileybury College, Hertford Heath in 1942.
