Born on 28 May 1896 and baptised on 24 Jul 1896 in Clewer, Windsor son of James Dixon and Hope Gertrude Sykes.
Educated at Haileybury College 1909-11. He later lived at 109 Ebury Street, London.
Wartime Service
Died of wounds probably in the 30th Casualty Clearing Station in Aubigny-en-Artois..

Brother of Lieutenant Jack Aubrey Sykes who was killed in action on 3 Oct 1918 and of Lieutenant Harold Keith Sykes who was killed in a flying accident on 29 Jun 1917 and all are commemorated on these memorials.
