Born on 3 Aug 1889 in Hertingfordbury son of George Henry and Alice (Moore) Mitchell and living in 2 Elm Street, Hertford in 1891 and 1901 and in 53 Cromwell Road, Hertford in 1911 as a general labourer. He was christened at the age of 22 at Bengeo on 23 May 1912.
Wartime Service
Enlisted at Hertford formerly 5974 Hertfordshire Regiment and was killed in action.
