Born on 16 May 1895 in Streatham, Surrey son of Montague William and Gertrude Elizabeth Desborough and baptised on 24 Jul 1895 in St Leonard, Streatham. Educated at Haileybury College 1909-12. He later lived in 45 Balham Park Road, Streatham.

Wartime Service

Formerly enlisted Driver 562 Honourable Artillery Company he entered Egypt on 21 Apr 1915. He obtained his commission on 4 Dec 1915 in the Royal Field Artillery. He was then attached to the Royal Flying Corps and was killed in action in France.
