Born on 27 Feb 1880 in Ingatestone, Essex son of Frederick and Eliza Mills, living in Railway Street, Hertford in 1881 and baptised on 26 Jun 1887 in St Andrew’s, Hertford and living in 73 Somerset Terrace, Hertford in 1901.
He married Florence in 1910 and they lived in 20 Port Vale, Hertford. He was a cellarman in a brewery.

Enlisted at Bedford and died of wounds in France.
