Born on 6 Jul 1881 and baptised on 14 Aug 1881 in Cossipore, Calcutta, India son of William and Jane Elizabeth McGlashan and later lived in Chorleywood, Hertfordshire. He married in 1909 in Marylebone, London.
Wartime Service
Enlisted at Hounslow and in 1911 was a Corporal of Horse in the Royal Horseguards at Windsor. Entered WW1 at Egypt on 28 Apr 1915 and was killed in action at Gallipoli.
