Born on 22 Feb 1890 in Green Tye, Hertfordshire and was christened on 26 Mar 1891 in Much Hadham son of William John and Eliza Martin.


He lived at 4 Brewhouse Lane, St. Andrew's Street, Hertford in 1911 as a carman.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Hertford. Formerly 6377 in the Bedfordshire Regiment.

He was killed during the 3rd battle of Gaza against the Turks.
