Attended Great Yarmouth Grammar and Aldenham |school Trained as a Motor Mechanic and became a Motor car Salesman.
He was married to Elsie May Friday on 28 Jul 1914.
Wartime Service
He joined the Army Service Corps 10 Dec 1915 and was in Home Service in Motor Transport from then until Aug 1917 when he was posted France 297 Siege Battery RA as part of 564 MT Company.
He was admitted on 26 Oct to No. 2 General Hospital, Le Havre suffering from Influenza & Pneumonia, dying on 31 Oct 1918.

His older brother Verriour Wynne Marment served with the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 31 Battalion, enlisting at Calgary in Dec 1914 and died in action North East of Fresnoy on 3 May 1917
