Royal Masonic School Memorial, Rickmansworth

Pre War

Born on 11 Apr 1899 in Hull, Yorkshire son of Henry Colledge and Florence Little. Educated at the Royal Masonic School 1907-15 and then joined the Union of London and Smith’s Bank.

Wartime Service

Enlisted on 11 May 1917 in Hull formerly 51575, East Yorkshire Yeomanry and served initially in Ireland against the Sein Fein rebellion and was then sent to France on 3 Jul 1918. He was wounded on 3 Sep 1918 and despite amputation of his leg, he died in the No. 5 Northern General Hospital, Leicester.
