Haileybury College Cloister Wall Memorial, Hertford Heath
Pre War
Born on 19 Oct 1872 in Bangor, Wales son of the Very Rev. Evan Lewis, Dean of Bangor and Adelaide Lewis. Educated at Haileybury College 1887-90. He emigrated to Canada and worked as a teamster.
Wartime Service
Having previously served in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers, he enrolled on 27 May 1915 in Vancouver, B.C., Canada in the Canadian Expeditionary Force. He died of gunshot wounds in No. 4 General Hospital, Camiers.
