Brother of Private Harry Lee who was killed in action on 27 Apr 1918 and is also commemorated on these memorials and of William, Walter and Frederick Lee who also fought but survived WW1.
Philip and his brother Harry are also commemorated on their parent’s grave in Ware Old Cemetery. Their inscription reads:
