In 1900 Frederick married Elizabeth (nee Goodge). The following census in 1901 they were living Flint Cottages, Offley. Frederick was age 24 and a farm labourer. His wife is recorded as 25 and their daughter, Mary was 0. By 1911 they were living at Copt Hall, Hyde nr Luton. Age 34 Farm labourer. Their children were listed as Mary (10) and sons John (9) Frederick (5) Herbert (3) George (0). When he in enlisted he was living in Harlington. He enlisted in Hounslow.
