Only son of Florence Olga Lambert, of "St. Merryn," Manorgate Rd., Kingston Hill, Surrey, and the late Walter Lambert, of Richmond, Surrey.


Educated at Lancing College. Joined Inns of Court O.T.C. Sept., 1914, obtained Commission March, 1915, went to France July 1915.

Wartime Service

Geoffrey's death was reported in the Hertfordshire "The death is reported at a British Red Cross Hospital  on April 15, of Second-Lieut. Geoffrey Fontaine Lambert, of the 1st Herts Regiment. Deceased, who was only 21 years of age, was the son of a Richmond (Surrey) solicitor, and joined the Inns of Court O.T.C. at the outbreak of the war. He received his Commission in the Hertfordshire Regiment in March 1915, I went to the Front in July."
