Born on 27 Jan 1891 in Ware, Hertfordshire son of Walter and Agnes Emily (Roberts) Huggins of 33 Woodside Avenue, South Norwood, London.


Educated at Hertford Grammar School. He was unmarried and a house furnisher by trade.

Wartime Service

Enlisted in Hertford on 4 Sep 1914, joined the Herts Territorials and volunteered for foreign service.


Percy went to the front in France on 7 Nov 1914 and was killed in action on the 25th of December near Festubert by a shot from a sniper while on outpost duty. He was shot through the head.
