Born in 1899 son of Herbert and Emily Hookham of 2 Chorley Wood Bottom, Hertfordshire. He was a railway parcel messenger.
Wartime Service
Enlisted at Watford on 11 Sep 1917 formerly 38756 Private West Riding Regiment and was killed in action.
Additional Information
*1 This man appears to be the most likely man to be commemorated on these memorials, however some researchers suggest George Horace Hookham. In the future we hope to confirm which man is on the memorials and which is not.
