Born on 6 Jun 1878 at Winton Lodge, Worthing, Sussex son of Joseph Charles Thomas Heriz-Smith J.P. and Elizabeth Annabella (Sealy) Heriz-Smith later of Court Garden, Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Educated at Haileybury College 1892-97 and at Pembroke College, Cambridge. Assistant Master at Twyford School. He married Kathleen Annie Donnell in 1910 at Hayfield, Derbyshire.
Wartime Service
He was killed in action in Mesopotamia.
