Born in 1890 in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire son of Henry William and Sarah Elizabeth Stowell and was living in Noble Villas, Ware Road, Hoddesdon in 1911. He was a grocer’s assistant.

Wartime Service
Enlisted at Holloway, Middlesex and died of wounds probably in one of the hospitals in Mericourt-L’Abbe on the Somme.
