Born in 1894 in Wormley, Herts, son of Edward and Emma Harvey. 1911 Census: living with widowed mother Emma and family at Macers Lane, Wormley and working as a Nursery Hand, his father having died in 1905.
Wartime Service
Enlisted in Hertford. Served in France and Flanders. Killed in action during one of the Battles for Arras, the first Battle of Scarpe.
