Born in 1889 in Easthampstead, Berkshire son of William and Mary Ann (Day) Hancock and was living in Ware in 1901.
He was living with his brother-in-law in Bracknell, Berkshire in 1911 and was working as a grocer’s assistant. He married Annie Reardon in Edmonton, Middlesex in 1913.
Wartime Service
Enlisted at Bedford and was killed in action.
