Born on 7 Apr 1900 in Stapleford, Hertfordshire son of William George and Rose Isabel Kathleen (Porter) Gutteridge and was baptised on 20 May 1900 in Watton.


He was living in Woodhall Lodge, Watton in 1901 and in Bayford in 1911 and later in Sele Grange Lodge, North Road, Hertford.

Wartime Service

He was drowned at Lowestoft by accident.
