Percy was born in 1892 to John and Kate in Shaftsbury, Dorset. IN 1911 the family were living at a farm in Burton, Christchurch, Dorset  and Percy was listed as a groom. In the Commonwealth War Graves site he is listed as son of John and Kate Gray, The Bungalow, Stonebury, Buntingford. Native of Avington, Winchester.

Wartime Service

His war medal record shows he was in the Household Cavalry.  

Additional Information

His gravestone inscription reads: 'He Gave His Life For His Friends Thy Will Be Done'.
