Born on 28 Jun 1888 in Bedford son of Maj. Gen. Edward Richard Cumberland and Katherine Mary (Keilie) Wilcox of 79 Ashburnham Road, Bedford. Educated at the United Services College 1902-06. He became a Customs Officer in Canada and married Emily Richards of Bristol on 23 Jun 1914 in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.

Wartime Service

Killed in action in Mesopotamia.

Additional Information

United Services College, Westward Ho, Devon amalgamated with Imperial Service College in Windsor in 1912 and then moved to Haileybury College, Hertford Heath in 1942.
