Son of Mr. and Mrs. Percy William Goodman, of 34, Norwich St., Cambridge.
In the 1911 Census, William, age 14, was working as a houseboy (domestic), and living with his parents Percy and Emma and siblings. The family were living at 55 Cambridge Place, Cambridge.
Officially recorded as born in Cambridge and was living there when he enlisted there.
