Son of Daniel and the late Jessie (nee GRIST) WHITE; husband of Alice Eleanor (nee BARNES) WHITE.
His parents married 29 August 1868 at Marylebone Parish Church, London. Jessie died 18 May 1914 aged 68; Daniel died 4 April 1921 aged 77; both in Highgate, Middx.
Thomas was born 25 May 1880 in Kentish Town, London, and baptised 11 July 1880 at Holy Trinity, Haverstock Hill, London. He worked as a clerk in the Railway Clearing House, and married 18 September 1907 at St John the Baptist, Kentish Town; they had two children.
On the 1881 Census, aged 10 months he lived in St Pancras, London, with his parents and four siblings. On the 1891 Census, aged 10 he still lived in St Pancras, with his parents and three siblings. On the 1901 Census, a railway accountant aged 20, he still lived in St Pancras, with his parents and three siblings. On the 1911 Census, a railway clerk aged 30, he lived in Harlesden, London, with his wife and one child.
Wartime Service
He enlisted in London, and was formerly Private 3347 Army Pay Corps.
He was entitled to the Victory and British War medals, and was killed in action.

Unfortunately, Thomas’ Service Record appears to be one that did not survive the World War Two bombing.
