Robert Edwin Glover was born in 1902 in Boxmoor, Hemel Hempstead, the son of Robert Edwin and Elizabeth Glover (nee Gray), of 8 Catlin Street, Apsley End, Hemel Hempstead.
His parents had married in Hemel Hempstead in 1901.
Robert was said to have been a brush maker.
Wartime Service
He enlisted into the 1st Defence Force, Hertfordshire Regiment with the Reg. No. 153.
He died in the Drill Hall, Hemel Hempstead on 27 May 1921, age 18 and is buried in Heath Lane Cemetery, Hemel Hempstead, Herts.
Additional Information
His father Robert received his pay owing of £9 6s 4d plus an additional payment of £7 10s.
