Born in 1888 in Hertford son of George and Hannah Maria Gibbins and living in St Andrew’s Street, Hertford in 1901 and at 25 Spencer Street, Hertford in 1911 as a carman for a coal merchant.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Hertford and was killed in action.

In CWGC as Gibbons. Brother of Private Frank Wilfred Gibbins who was killed on 7 Aug 1917 and who is also commemorated on these memorials.
