Pre War

Born on 27 May 1871 in Sandon, Hertfordshire son of Rev. Nicholas Parker and Alice Philippa (Melvill) Gepp.


Educated at Haileybury College 1884-89. Obtained a commission in Dec 1900 in the West India Regiment. Served in the Aro Expedition to Nigeria in 1901. After serving in Nigeria with the West African Frontier Force, he relinquished his commission in 1909 to become Assistant Resident in Nigeria.

Wartime Service

He rejoined the Army as Captain in May 1915 and was deployed to the Dardanelles. He died in action at Hill 12 near Achi Baba in Gallipoli.
