In the 1901 census Norbert was shown as living with his parents William and Clara Game and 3 brothers in Colliers End. By 1911 the family had moved to Church Street, Buntingford. There was now another brother.

His brothers, Edward and Herbert were also killed in action. There is a stained glass window in St Richards Catholic Church, Buntingford commemorating all three brothers.
