Born on 22 May 1879. He married Florence Helene Newman in 1915 in Hertford and they lived in 7 Ash Street, Ware Road, Hertford. He had a son Stanley John Waters who died aged 5 months two days after him and is buried with him.
Wartime Service
Had served in the South African war and in Egypt. Enrolled in the Royal Air Force on 1 Jul 1918 and died in service at the Reading Military Hospital.
