Pre War

Henry was born in Albury or Furneux Pelham in 1898/9 and the son of Thomas and Mary Warman.

In 1901 they were living at Patmore Heath, Albury and his father was working as a labourer on a farm. In 1911 he was living with parents and called Bertie.

Wartime Service

Henry enlisted at Hertford into the Hertfordshire Regt, but is also said to have served in the Bedfordshires.

Possibly he was serving with the Bedfordshires when killed, as the 1st Bn. Hertfordshire had no casualties in early July 1917.
