Born in 1886 in Redbourn, Herts. son of Walter and Laura (Bartram)Fox and was christened in Redbourn on 29 Apr 1888. He married Kate from Clare, Suffolk in 1910 and they lived in Shafford Cottages, Redbourn Road, St Albans. He was a cowman.
Wartime Service
Enlisted at St Albans and entered France on 26 Jul 1915. He was killed in action on the Somme.
