Harry was born in Manton Downs, Devizes, Wiltshire and lived at High Elms, Benington with his wife, Elizabeth (nee Cox), and their two daughters, Florence and Rose. He worked as a Farm Labourer and later enlisted in the Army at Hertford.
Wartime Service
Harry arrived in France on the 31st May 1915 and served continuously on the Western Front. On his way home in November 1918 he contracted Influenza and, without appropriate medication, he died.
