Pre War

Born in 1890 in Hertford son of Edward and Charlotte Waller and was living in 12 Peg's Lane, Hertford in 1891, 1901 and in 1911. He was a leather dresser.


The Hertford Mercury dated 7th December 1918 reported George as married and his wife living at 11 Crowland.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Hertford and reported to have been wounded three times before he was killed in action during the final advance in Picardy.
