Andrew was born on 7 May 1891 in Ware, Hertfordshire son of Alfred and Elizabeth (Dench) Wall of 7 Priory Street, Ware, and employed as a Valet at the outbreak of war.
He married Esther Lee on 24 Mar 1916 in Bangor, N. Ireland later of 11 Stanhope Place, Hyde Park, London.
Wartime Service
Enlisted at Leybourn, Yorkshire on 6 Dec 1915, entered France on 1 May 1916 and was killed in action near Ypres.
His De Ruvigny listing mentions that his Captain wrote that Andrew was one of his best sergeants and one of the nicest of men.
