Pre War

Born in 1893 in 65 St Andrew’s Street, Hertford son of Charles and Eliza (Hart) Fitkin. In 1911 he was a general labourer. He married Dora Parsons in 1913.

Wartime Service

He probably died in hospital during the influenza epidemic.

Additional Information

Brother of Driver Frederick Charles Fitkin who died in Palestine in 1918 and of Private William George Fitkin who was killed in action in 1915 and who are also commemorated on these memorials.
