Born in 1896 in Chesham, Buckinghamshire son of Frederick and Sarah Turvey and living in 4 Ellwood Terrace, Chorleywood in 1911. He was a domestic gardener.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Chorleywood in Mar 1913, entered France on 6 Nov 1914 and was killed in action by shelling in the trenches.

Additional Information

Brother of Private Frederick Turvey who died in service on 20 Sep 1918 and is also commemorated on these memorials.
