Pre War

Born in 1892 and baptised on 11 Feb 1893 in St Stephen’s, Walthamstow son of Edward Driver and Sophia (Ramsay) Everard and was later living at 12 West Street, Ware, Herts. He was a builder’s and decorator’s clerk.

Wartime Service

Enlisted Private 6976 in the Hon. Artillery Company and was a Cadet in the Artists' Rifles. He obtained a commission in the Lancashires on 19 Dec 1916 and died of wounds received at the Battle of Messines probably in hospital in Etaples.
