Born 15th December, 1882, Harrow, Middlesex, son of John Tracey and (believed) Georgina Tracy.
By 1891, his father had dies and the family were living in Gladstone Road, Watford. Sisters Mildred B and Clara were present in the census, along with Ahis widowed aunt Sarah Burford and two servants.
In 1901 Cecil was living at the family home at 20 Gladstone Road, Watford with his mother, sister Clara, aunt Sarah Burford and Grandmother Jemima Wild - also a widow. Cecil was a cycle maker.
He married Jessie Elizabeth Household from Bournemouth on 31st March, 1905 , the Church of Michael and All Angels, Bournemouth they had three children: Cecil Hugh William (b1905), Harold Mervyn (b1909) and John Denis (b1913).

In 1911 their family was living at 140 Queens Avenue, Watford, the family consisted of parents Cecil and Jessie - Cecil was working as a commercial travellers in the motor industry, children Cecil and Harold.
Officially recorded as born Recorded and born Harrow Weald, Middlesex, and enlisting in Watford, while living there.
Wartime Service
Recorded as accidentally drowned 21st May, 1916.

His widow received a pension of 18s 6d for widow and two of the children and 2s for Cecil, she was living at 58 St Albans Road, Watford, Herts.
*1 he is commemorated on a headstone in Rickmansworth (Chorley Road) Cemetery, as the only sone of John Tracy, however the date is wrongly recorded as April 3rd, 1916. "Out of the Deep Have I Called Thee".
