Since the early days of the Herts at War Project one of our main goals has been to document and preserve the wartime history of not only the individuals from Hertfordshire who experienced life in The Great War, but also items and artefacts of importance from the period.
This archive has been established as a resource for family members, students, historians and the public alike. We are working with the aim of the HAW Project being the County’s leading resource for Hertfordshire in the Great War.
Since the establishment of the Herts at War Project we have received a huge number of items to add to the Archive and this resource continues to grow so be sure to keep checking back here for updates, and if you can help add to the Archive, please do.
